About Me

Hi there! I’m a service designer and product manager based in Chicago. In whatever role I take on, I lead with listening and I strive to constantly be learning, whether I’m brand-new to a space or I’ve lived in it for years. I’m particularly interested in building better service experiences through human-centered design methods, with a focus on improving workers’ experiences to drive better outcomes for all stakeholders and audiences.

Most recently, I’ve been doing freelance UX design work with the Permanent Legacy Foundation.

I am an experienced manager and researcher, and I thrive in collaborative environments. I also have more than seven years of experience in designing and facilitating educational programming based in principles of connected learning and inquiry-based learning. In my spare time, I love cooking for other people, traveling on foot, volunteering, mentoring, playing video games, and getting out of my comfort zone as often as I can.

Previously

Most recently, I served as the Director of Product at Civic Elevator, where we built enterprise software for the vertical transportation industry.

Before that, I worked at Prophet as a product and service designer, where I designed experiences and touch points across industries, including financial services and healthcare.

I earned my Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University in 2019, where I concentrated on service design and design of AI products.

Prior to grad school, I worked as a Teen Learning Programs designer and manager at the Adler Planetarium and a user experience researcher with CUTgroup. I was also a member of the Hive Chicago Learning Network advisory committee.
